We are ready for Zambia – Dr Carolin Braun

Botswana assistant coach Carolin Braun has declared her team ready to face Chipolopolo in this evening’s crucial Cameroon 2021 AFCON qualifier.

The Zebras face chipolopolo tomorrow evening at Heroes Stadium, The match is a must-win for both sides as they try to increase chances of qualifying Cameroon.

Speaking during the press briefing at Football house today Dr. Braun who also doubles up as the Technical Director was also quick to highlight the impact of COVID-19 on world football.

“Preparing of the team has not been easy, to conduct a camp and to get the players together and the players healthy is very important. The preparations they went well besides the global pandemic, we prepared them in Botswana, we did our job there and we arrived here(Zambia) on Sunday since then everything is well,” she said.

The Zebras coach was quick to point out the International experience and exposure that Zambia has amassed over the years.

The Botswana coach has also expressed happiness with the Zambian hospitality since her team arrived in Zambia on Sunday.

“Zambia has a lot of international experience, a lot of players with experience, we did our homework and we know how good they are and how they are playing but still its football, we are prepared for Zambia, we are very aware of the quality of Zambia, they got what they want to win the game. we will take it as comes,” she said.

“We are very happy to be in Zambia and everything was well from the team we arrived here, everything is fine. Zambia takes on Botswana this evening at the National Heroes Stadium at 18:00 CAT behind closed doors. The two teams will again clash in Francistown on Monday.
