This is a platform for greater things for those nations that see and share the same vision as the CAF. Africa doesn’t have the financial resources to match other continents but have the talent. One way to use this talent and expose it is through the CHAN. Ignore it at your own peril. The more the number of countries the better the competition, so 16 is just okay 32 would be too much.
Many players have been exposed at the 3 CHAN tournaments so far and are shooting to stardom. Many ignored COSAFA but it has proven to be a very good stepping stone for many players and the exposure has been great.
Through this CHAN and COSAFA, Zambia’s rebuilding process has been cemented and we are taking shape as a team. I would say we have 60% of the future team in the making.
Lets not just support UEFA, EPL,LA LIGA ETC. Lets be proud of our achievements and encourage one another to greater heights.
