    • In fact if Lubambo embrace that position he can sell at higher price. He has energy. It can be a blessing for Zambia, who has not developed a good right-back after Nkausu.
Look how coaches are struggling to find a speedy number 2. We though now we have Chepeshi, but umwaiche nanaka apa pene.

  1. the 3-5-2 formation sees the wingers (11 & 7)drop to help in defense(3 & 2)..not that they are full time defenders..they infact play high up the pitch

  2. Renard has been riding on luck for years. Now we shall how good he is let him be tested. He failed with Sochaux and he risks been disgraced at lille if he doesn’t pick up. I doubt he will coach a top European club again if he fails here

  3. Funding to Fwayo’s team for wages and kits has been cut by the owner for almost a month won’t be surprised if we see him in Zambia soon

  4. …..and sum bloggers wil b like Chicken shud call spencer ngalande to the national team PLIZZZz watchin the botswana league is like watchin inter-schools football. M wit u on this 1 STUMPY

  5. @ John…Renard left Zambia years ago, the hate you hv for him can only come from someone whose chick or wife was grabbed by the Frenchman Listen boys cut this out! No result will come out of your quacking “Renard” all the time. No outcome unless lunacy runs deep in your family, if not quit man… Broken record talking!

  6. @ Mambwe ZimaNdola I don’t agree with your line of thinking. The Botswana league has made tremendous strides in th last few years.A few years ago when the league standards were quite low, a Zambian player, Masautso Tembo, was identified and came back and featured prominently in the Chipolopolo! When u r good and talented the paucity of the league competition is not a hindrance in the real sense! Good examples abound; the Ghana captain has been in the Middle East for years n nobody puts him down. Drogba went to China and came back to Chelsea and his perfomance was still good.Chivuta may still b better than most players in the chipolopolo but u put down his league which u have not watched! Kalusha’s attitude is common among Zambian soccer fans.

    • The ghana captain is ostracized becos of the mediocre leagues he has been playing. He is old now & going for the money do we do understand from that perspective

  7. @Slim if google serves me rite tht player u r talkin bout was only considered wen he proved himself in da Zambian league wen he featured 4 Zanaco whilst in Bots as u say no 1 paid attention 2 him. Yes bots is improvin bt da standards of football r way below ZPL unless economy-wise and the drogbas were proven players not ROOKIES.

  8. I am a motswana living in Botswana. The Botswana league is not as weak as you guys think.Yes it might be weak but all the same we have decent and strong outfits. Wilbroad Mutale turned out for Centre Chiefs last season. He is in Zambia now and guess what…..he is a regular at his club in Zambia. Botswana teams have seen some memorable glory in the CAF games. Zesco was once eliminated by Township Rollers.Orlando pirates was sent packing before at the hands of Gaborone United. Teams from Namibia, Lesotho , Madagascar etc are no longer a hurdle to progression to the next stage for Botswana teams in competitive games. Recently Botswana eliminated Guinea at senior level with a sound score margin. That Botswana team had two foreign based players in it. This in short communicates the arrival of Botswana soccer on the stage of the elite.

  9. Plus, more importantly, the administration of football is way ahead of Zambia. The “wamuyaya King Kalu” one man show is not moving our football at an acceptable pace. you r in trouble when yo top scorer for two consecutive seasons cannot cut it in the RSA Psl. What’s keeping us ticking is the abundant talent not the administration which is mediocre to say the least.
