According to Times of Zambia, Former Italian Chipolopolo coach Dario Bonneti is interested in coaching the team once more.
The Italian coached Zambia from July 2010 to October 2011 and is remembered for qualifying the team to the 2012 Afcon where the lads managed to conquer Africa under the guidance of Herve Renard.
” Zambia is always in my heart, and I am always available,” the Italian told the Times of Zambia journalist.
The National team is currently coached by the under fire Wedson Nyirenda who will soon be away in Spain for a refresher coach. But the Football Association of Zambia [FAZ] indicated that they will just employee someone for 9 months to cover Wada’s absence.
Wedson has further applied for a Cameroon national team job, the action which has angered FAZ.
