FINALLY LAZARUS KAMBOLE ENDS 15 MONTHS GOAL DROUGHT, SINKALA STRETCHED OFF

Former Zesco United strike Lazarus Kambole came from the bench to scored the equalizing goal for Kaizer Chiefs in a 1-1 draw against Stellenbosch FC in a Premier Soccer League match.

Kambole has struggle to find the back of the net since he switched his allegiance to Amakhosi but he ended his goal drought by shoving off a defender and calmly finished Reeve Frosler’s cross

He had gone 15 months without scoring a goal, his last goal came in a 4-1 ABSA Cup Final win over Zanaco FC and that happened to be his last game for Zesco United.

While his compatriot Nathan Sinkala only lasted for 45 minutes before he was withdrawn after picking up an injury and he was replaced by Kristopher Bergman.

Sinkala has featured regularly for Stellenbosch FC since he joined them and they will be sweating that the injury is not severe.
