Zambian female football sensation Barbara Banda started her life in China with a bang scoring a goal and assisting two more goals as Shanghai Shengli thrashed Zhejiang Hangzhou 5-0 in a Chinese Women’s league encounter.
Banda joined the 2019 Chinese Women’s league runners up in January after an impressive showing in Spain at EDF Logroño and has already started to make her mark in the Chinese Women’s League just after one game.

The Copper Queens captain opens the scores in the 23rd minute after outpacing two defenders running from the centerline before poking the ball past the Hangzhou goalkeeper.
Banda also set up the third goal after taking on five defenders before setting up her teammate for a simple finish inside the box. Banda again set up the fifth goal after intercepting a poor back pass before setting up a teammate.
The win takes Shengli to the top of the summit thanks to their +5 goal difference. Defending Champions, Jiangsu Suning recorded a hard-fought 3-2 win over Hebei China Fortune.
