Zambia U-20 in Senegal test

The Zambia U-20 National team will this evening take on Senegal in their second pre-AFCON international friendly match. 

Chisi Mbewe’s men  had their official training session at the Stade Lat Dior on Monday afternoon ahead of today’s match. 

Mbewe will be hoping to stir his side to victory after suffering a 4-2 loss at the hands of seven time African Champions, Nigeria. 

The match at the Stade Lat Dior is part of the Young Copper Bullets preparations for the TotalEnergies U20 AFCON which kicks off on February 19.

Jeban Tembo is expected to start between the sticks with Lombe Mutale, Amon Chulu, Happy Nsiku and Gift Mphande making the back four. 

In midfield skipper Dominic Kanda will likely be joined by Chipyoka Songa and Charles Majapa Mumba. 

In attack Derrick Bulaya who scored a brace against the Flying Eagles is expected to start in attack again alongside Moses Mulenga and Rickson Ng’ambi. 

Kickoff  is at 18:30 hours (CAT).

Please if possible make sure you update us every weekend so that we are up-to-date. National league is a very important tier to zambian football.

  2. What is FAZ’s position on our lads & girls with Zambian links/ duo nationality playing in Europe or indedd the EPL…..

    Don’t we have any willing to play for mother Zambia either @ U17 , U20 / U23?
