Under-20 can win AFCON says Chisi Mbewe

The Zambia Under 20 Men’s football team Coach Chisi Mbewe says the current crop of players have what it takes to clinch AFCON title and qualify to the World Cup.

Mbewe says the country has quality players who have proved that they have what it takes to conquer Africa.

With the team set to depart for Nigeria on Wednesday, the Junior Chipolopolo coach has declared his charges ready for the three international friendly games against the hosts and Senegal.

And speaking during the team’s training session at the Nkoloma stadium MBEWE says the team has made a lot of progress with key areas like the defense and striking force enhanced.

The TotalEnergies Egypt 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations will take place from 19 February to 11 March 2023.
