Newly appointed Al -Bashear Coach Mohamed Fathi has refuted social Media reports that Afcon 2012 winner Chintu Kampamba has joined his technical bench at his Omani Club .
Chintu left Napsa Stars last week after the expiry of his contract. He was coaching Young Napsa Stars.
Fathi however says he intends to bring on board a Zambian as his assistant next season and says it will be announced through the club’s Website.
Fathi was recently unveiled at Omani side Al-Bashaer as Head coach .
The Egyptian born arrived in Zambia a few years ago and coached Kabwe Warriors.
He also coached Napsa Stars and Power Dynamos.
