Copper Queens abroad: Kundananji and Nachula on target as Belemu and Misozi suffer heavy defeat

Rachel Kundananji and Rachel Nachula were on target over the weekend as Copper Queens players abroad took to the pitch with their respective clubs. 

Margaret Belemu and Misozi Zulu suffered a big defeat in Turkey.

The ZamFoot Crew now looks at how the Copper Queens performed at their clubs over the past weekend. 

In Spain,  Rachel Kundananji came off the bench to score the third goal as Madrid CFF beat Real Betis Women 3-1 ending a six match drought for the Zambian International. 

The goal was Kundananji’s 9th in the league and 11th in all Competitions. 

Compatriot Grace Chanda played the last 24 minutes.

Elsewhere, Rachel Nachula scored a goal and assisted twice as Zaragoza CFF beat Bizkerre 4-0 in a RFEF Second Division North Group League played at the Enrique Porta stadium on Sunday.

In Turkey, Margaret Belemu and Misozi Zulu had a weekend to forget as their team Hakkarigucu Spor suffered a 6-0 loss at the hands of Karagumruk. 

Copper Queens first choice goalkeeper Hazel Nali kept a clean sheet as Fatih Vatan Spor shared the spoils with Hatayspor in a barren draw. 

Kazakhstan based trio of Martha Tembo, Hellen Chanda and Ireen ‘Xavi’ Lungu, the female Computer are still in preseason with their club, BIIK Kazygurt Shymkent in Turkey. 

In China, Barbra Banda and her Shanghai Shengli teammates are still in preseason.
