Nkana fc attacking midfielder Simon Bwalya has refuted reports that he is on the verge re-joining Power Dynamos.
Bwalya who spent six years at Arthur Davies stadium before he was deemed surplus to requirements in 2014 has remained one of the most consistent performers in the Zambian league in the past 10 years.
“I just want you to know that I still have a running contract with the team (Nkana), meaning I am still a Nkana player and I have never signed anything with Power Dynamos,” he said.
The 31 year old speedy winger was Nkana’s second highest scorer in the 2016 season with 8 goals finishing ahead of renowned strikers like Freddi Tshimenga, Ronald Kampamba and Bornwell Mwape who are all on the books of Nkana.
In the 2015 season, he scored five goals for Nkana.
In the 2014 season, the diminutive player scored 9 goals for Nkana in all competitions with three of those coming in the CAF champions league.
