Former Zanaco Football Club, Central Defender, Aaron Katebe and former Nakambala Leopards Football Club Defensive Midfielder, Sam Chilupe have signed 12 months and 24 months contracts respectively with Kitwe giants Nkana Football Club.
Katebe who last soccer season featured for the Lusaka outfit, joins the likes of Given Sinyangwe, Amos Simwanza, Diego Apanane and Joseph Musonda in the Nkana Football Club back line while the former Nakambla Leopards player will reinforce the midfield with players such as Jacob Ngulube, Harrison Chisala and Aubrey Chamulwanda.
Nkana Football Club, Chief Executive Officer, Kenny Mwansa confirmed that the dual have signed their respective contracts effective January 2017.
“As you are aware, we are trying to make sure that we reinforce the squad before the start of the soccer season and so far we have signed new deals with Aaron Katebe and Sam Chilupe,” Mwansa said.
The Nkana FC CEO further said the club was in the process of finishing and signing deals with a few more players to be part of the 2017 Nkana squad.

Relax guys, ZANACO has signed a high number of foreign players. I assure you, you will see them next season. Most of them are currently undergoing medicals. They are from west Africa and Congo DR. Watch the space
