Red Arrows’ formidable unbeaten home record at Nkoloma Stadium has come to an end after Nkwazi FC claimed a 1-0 victory in the Lusaka Derby on Wednesday, 4 November 2026.
The result brought an end to a remarkable run of 21 consecutive league matches without defeat on home soil for the Airmen, who had established Nkoloma as one of the toughest venues for visiting teams.
Before Nkwazi’s victory, Atletico Lusaka were the last team to beat Red Arrows at home in the league, securing a 1-0 win on 9 April 2025.
Nkana FC, meanwhile, remain the last side from outside Lusaka to inflict a home league defeat on the Airmen. Kalampa claimed a 2-1 victory at Nkoloma on 9 March 2025, ending another impressive unbeaten run.
Between those two defeats, Red Arrows enjoyed an outstanding spell of home dominance, recording 16 wins and five draws from 21 matches.
During that period, the Airmen scored 34 goals, conceded just eight and kept 12 clean sheets, underlining their defensive resilience and consistency in front of their home supporters.
Their latest defeat means the 574-day unbeaten run – spanning one year, six months and 26 days – has finally been brought to an end by their Lusaka rivals.
