Red Arrows appoint Matthews Phiri as head coach

Red Arrows FC have made changes to the team’s technical bench relegating Albert Kachinga to the Assistant role while ole faithful Matthews Phiri who was until now assistant coach becomes the head coach.

Kachinga joined Arrows last season when they were in free-fall under Oswald Mutapa and saved the team from the jaws of relegation.

But the team has this season struggled to find their stride and have only managed 3 wins, 4 draws and 4 losses.

A draw midweek against newly promoted Lusaka Dynamos was enough for the Arrows management to make the decision.

Kachinga leaves Arrows in 11th position.

  1. Arrows is a big club with quality players, they shudnt be strugglingf like this. What shud they do. Apologise to Chicken George for ill-treating him for no apparent reason or for trying to control him from the boardroom and he said no? Where is George now? He won Backlays for u and ended the season shud be on 4th position, went Chanto Zesco and won double for them, Barclays and Premeire league. He has already won Charity Shield ths season and on position 2 on the log with about three games in hand and interim Chipolopolo head coach. Changing coaches will not help, just apologise and ask for forgiveness. CHAPWA!
