Konkola Blades took control early on, opening the scoring through Purity Kunda, who finished with a delicate lob in the 12th minute. Nkhata doubled the advantage shortly after with a superb long-range free kick, before sealing the result late on with another stunning set-piece effort to confirm Nkwazi’s drop to the Women’s National League.

At Independence Stadium, Amazing Grace staged an impressive comeback to defeat Luyando Foundation Girls 2-1 and boost their survival hopes.
