Zanaco will this afternoon look to seal a place in the second round of the CAF Confederations Cup when they host Harare City of Zimbabwe in the second leg.
Zanaco started their 2016 campaign in Africa on a strong beating the Zimbabweans 2 – 1 away in the first leg and will be hoping to complete their passage to the next round with a win at Nkoloma stadium.
Harare City arrived in the country on Friday evening and trained at the match venue on Saturday afternoon.
City will be hoping for an upset but on paper Zanaco look strong enough to complete the task.
In the preliminary round they showed that they are not shy to score away from home when they scored 3 goals away in Madagascar against Adema who they beat 6 – 3 on aggregate after winning 3 – 2 at home.
Zanaco on the other hand do not have a rich scoring history in the Confederations Cup having failed to score more than 2 goals in the last 8 games.
Coach Numba Mumamba is expected to name a strong line-up with Chipolopolo third choice keeper Racha Kola is expected to continue in goal while the back four of Lee Ngoma, Ziyo Tembo, George Chilufya and Fackson Kapumbu will pick itself.
Hardworking Richard Kasonde will start in the holding midfield role alongside Salulani Phiri to add more still in the midfield.
Speedy winger Charles Zulu who was impressive at Rufaro stadium will continue on the left flank with Rodrick Kabwe taking the other flank.
Numba has the option of playing Isaac Chansa, Fashion Sakala or Saith Sakala behind Aubrey Funga who is expected to start in front.

the coming in of issack chansa has changed the game, i think the coach is making a big mistake by puting chansa on bench, lets hope he has seen that.

Can the coach start both Isaac Chansa together with Salulani, this can save the team from allowing goals, because they will one day face a formidable team which can be difficult to equalise. Just an observation.
