Chipolopolo Boys coach Wedson Nyirenda has recalled Green Buffaloes midfielder Jack Chirwa.
Wada Wada confirmed Chirwa’s inclusion in the CHAN squad during the team’s morning session at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka on Tuesday.
Meanwhile defender Isaac Shamujompa has been excused from the Chipolopolo training camp as he is set to get married this weekend.
Red Arrows’ midfielder cum striker Lubinda Mundia has also been excused for a similar reason though Nyirenda expressed ignorance about the player’s pending move to a named Tanzanian side.
Zambia is preparing for next month’s CHAN tournament which will be hosted by Morocco.
Zambia is in Group C with West African powerhouse Ivory Coast, Uganda and neighbours Namibia.
Under the tutelage of Frenchman Herve Renard, the Chipolopolo Boys came third at the inaugural CHAN tournament in 2009.
The class of 2009 had Henry Banda and Jonas Sakuwaha down the flanks with Given Singuluma and Ignitius Lwipa in attack.
In midfield Renard had Kebby Hachipuka, Francis Kasonde and William Njobvu.

At full back Perry Mubanga and Nyambe Mulenga were his preferred choices with Davy Kaumbwa his no.1.
