On what is expected to be a rainy day in Mozambique today, the Zambia national team will take on the Mamba’s in a game neither team can afford to lose at the Elstadio Zempito Stadium.
Mozambique will be looking to turn the tables against Zambia who they have a dismal record against having failed to get the better of the Chipolopolo competitive outings but the tag of ‘poor travellers’ will weigh heavily against Honour Janza’s team in a game they could seal qualification with a win.
Zambia however remain favourites going into the match and has enough ammunition to wallop Mozambic with only U20 duo of Patrick Ngoma and Charles Zulu as well TP Mazembe international Kabaso Chongo dropped from the team that travelled.
Kennedy Mweene will start in goal while Donashano Malama, Emmanule Mbola, Nyambe Mulenga and Christopher Munthali are expected to line-up at the back as Munthali covers for injured captain Stopilla Sunzu.
The coach will also retain faith in the midfield that helped demolish Niger with Nathan Sinkala, Rainford Kalaba, Bruce Musakanya all starting in the middle of the pack.
