Jacob Mulenga was on target today (Wednesday) in the Chinese league for his Shijiazhuang team in an way game against Tianjin Teda.
Mulenga scored in the 40th minute before the home team equalized in the last minute of the second half.
The game ended in a one all draw.
The lanky striker played the entire match with today’s goal being his 8th of the season.

he has finally rediscovered his scoring form.well done.its every’s wish to see kola and jacob leading the front line but this will end in our dreams. that puppet coach will never call them for national duty.a white coach is needed with immediate effect to allow fair team selection to prevail.
A first 11 shirt and 8 goals this season already though not dat high but it is better than that of some players that can’t even command a bench sit in their teams. Zambia football needs performing players playing week in week out.
A time is coming when a player like Mayuka won’t get invitation to the national team with the way things are going for him. He has to rediscover himself and earn his place again.
I totally agree with you. Only players that are regulars at their Clubs should be called for National duty be it local or pro. period
Selection of players based on past performance should not be tolerated. I would prefer a local player who plays week-in and week-out
Our local coaches should as well stop playing players out of their usual positions at Club. Some blogger wrote that D. Malama from Nkana is played as right back and he struggles, at Nkana it seems he plays in midfield

Unfortunately, it’s Kalusha who picks the squad for his personal benefit, e.g. Patson Daka & Allan Mukuka marketing strategy in the Zambia vs Guinea Bissau. Players in the Zambia National Team are not picked on merit.

Jacob has been consistent and has proven several times that he has the temperament to come to the party when called upon at club level. The problem has been at national team.
We are in a transition period and i see no reason not to try new combinations even though both Kola and Jacob have never exploded at national team level albeit sporadically for Jacob.

Calling Jacob mulenga and Rodger kola is not an issue to discuss at the moment because we all know and hear what they are doing at their various clubs, leaving them or not calling them will totally show that the team selection is not done by the coach alone, because I see no point of not calling them if they are the only strikers that we have. And the coach should not leave mayuka he should be also called, he is great and bad. The following are the players that shd start, 1 mweene kennedy 2 munthali christpher,3. Kabaso chongo, 4. Aaron katebe, 5. Sunzu stoppila,6. Sinkala nathan,7. Jacob mulenga, 8. Mutonga kondwani,9. Rodger kola,10.chisamba lungu, 11 Rainford kalaba. 12 lubambo musonda,13 mayuka emmanuel,sate sate, musonda joseph,mukandawire Boyd, emmanuela mbola,winstone kalengo, you can add on ama defenders, don’t include abaice muli bola iyi, te bola yaku church but big tournament where you should call all the professional you have and use them, other tukaleke fye bola no kwamba boxing. You re right!Bt I feel other strikers who have regained good form are Liniker Mwikisa and Mbesuma.Among the strikers who should be included to the. Squard are:Collins Mbesuma,Liniker Mwikisa and Jacob Mulenga.These 3 strikers should replace Patson Daka,Patrick Ngoma and Given Singuluma.
