Namibia coach Ricardo Mannetti and Zambia’s Wedson Nyirenda bumped into each in Morocco, and the two coaches showed ubuntu.
In a video posted by FAZ on their social media, the two coaches had a light moment.
They started by congratulating each other after Zambia and Namibia’s victories on Sunday over Uganda and Ivory Coast respectively.
Though it was expected and a routine win for the Copper Bullets, the Brave Warriors win has been viewed as one of upsets of the CHAN 2018 tournament in Morocco.
With Zambia producing a mature and efficient display against Uganda, that hasn’t gone unnoticed across the continent.
“You have set the group on fire. Everyone is now scared of you,” Manetti joked as the two coaches hugged and laughed.
Zambia face Ivory Coast on Thursday at 18h30 at Grand Stade de Marrakech while Namibia and Uganda will go head to head at the same venue 3 hours later.
