European scouts and agents have started jetting into the country ahead of Sunday’s opening Group A matches of the CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
There are already five Portugal based agents and scouts led by Graham Heydorn who has represented two Zambian international players in the past before.
The five scouts for clubs like Porto, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon and Braga among others.
Graham brokered Rainford Kalaba’s move to Sporting Braga as well as Emmanuel Mbola’s one season loan at FC Porto B where he played with Christian Atsu and James Rodriguez. He also arranged for Bruce Musakanya and Emmanuel Mayuka’s trials at FC Porto and Sporting Lisbon.
This will be the second time Graham will be in Zambia on a scouting mission.
There’s also another scout from Spain who has already arrived but the biggest of them is former British Premier League star Fredric Kanoute.
The former Mali international has already arrived in Lusaka. Kanoute brokered Patson Daka  six month loan move in Austria as well as Mali’s Sekou Koita of FC Red Bull of Salzburg in Autria.
CAF Champions League Champions Mamelodi Sundowns are likely to send Trott Moloto and agent/scout Godfrey, a Nigerian by nationality.

Graham, Kanoute, Moloto and Godfrey, scouted both the 2015 CAF Under-17 and Under-20 tournaments in Niger and Senegal respectively.
Russian agent but based in South Africa Bondarenko’s son who brokered Fashion Sakala’s move to Spartak Moscow’s B side could also be coming.
With the likes of Emmanuel Mayuka, Stopilla Sunzu, Rodger Kola, Emmanuel Mbola, Conlyde Luchanga, and Evans Kangwa under him, Israel born Nir Karin is ‘not yet sure’ but he could just make a second trip to Lusaka in the last 12 months.
Eastern Europe’s Football Friends, formerly European Sport Agents under David Abrahamyan will have a representation at the matches.

David also brokered Emmanuel Mbola and Lubambo Musonda’s moves to Armenia and Chisamba Lungu’s Ural move

No one must go to either North Africa or South Africa
Pink frog I agree with you our players should not rush to sign for clubs in south Africa or egypt because it will not help them to become good players israel for me is the best destination compared with south africa because of lata zambian players have struggle in south africa
Although I’m not too sure with the age because last time we were disqualified because of age cheating
we have a lot of young talent out therr we should have combed the entire globe for it. the best the inept kamanga could do was this overaged squad. I would prefer to use a genuine young under 20 squad to help with the development of football in the far future. barring the results.
whoever is responsible in selling players should seriously consider the standard of football in that country. This young team should not be rushed in to disburding. Should they qualify to the world cup, they have potential to perform better than the 1988 Olympic team that shocked italy in south korea. Lets give them support
They are welcome. Afterall, its the future talent African talent being exibited. Hope a few of our lads can clinch Euro deals.
Wait and see. When the tournament starts, that’s when you will see that the West African teams have older players than Zambia.
ummmm that referee has a problem with his eyes like seriously he can’t see what is happening
Stumpy,Guru and Egwugwu; the serial grumblers: the latest is Kamanga is fielding overage players: Kamanga has not scouted young Zambian players scattered all over the globe, Kamanga has not availed replica jerseys!!!!! Jeepers creepers! who is overage and which young players hv u creeps identified all over the world! For goodness sake quit FARTING here again.
Am Zambian player for now am clubless
