AS Monaco join race to sign Patson Daka 

French Ligue One side AS Monaco has joined the race to sign Chipolopolo forward Patson Daka. 

French Publication L’equipe reports that Monaco has identified  Patson Daka as part of their options in their search for a striker. 

According to a report on the reliable French Publication Monaco have already started negotiations for a potential transfer.

“Alongside the track leading to Folarin Balogun , for whom Monaco has made an offer, ASM leaders have started negotiations to bring in Patson Daka (24), who plays for Leicester. 

Several sources indicate that the striker is enthusiastic about the princely club’s project.”

Daka has previously been linked with a move to Everton and Italian Serie A side, AS Roma. 

Daka has not played a single minute of Leicester City’s last three Competitive games. 

The Kafue Celtic product has scored 15 goals and assisted another 8 in 74 appearances for the Foxes. 

There was massive expectation around him when he initially joined the club from Red Bull Salzburg in 2021 for a reported £23m.

The striker scored 68 times in 125 appearances for RB Salzburg in all competitions.

Daka on the other hand has been amazing for Chipolopolo scoring 9 goals in his last 9 AFCON qualifying games.
