Jacob Mulenga on Sunday scored his fourth goal in three consecutive matches when he netted a consolation for Shijiazhuang Yongchang in the 2 – 1 home loss to relegation threatened Guizhou Renhe.
Mulenga who completed another game for his team was a constant threat in attack and was on target in the 28th minute.
However, the Shijiazhuang Yongchang defence was caught off guard and conceded an equalizer in the 41st minute.
Mulenga’s team was lucky not to go down soon after the restart when Guizhou Renhe missed a penalty but they made amends to score a winner in the 82nd minute to brighten their chances of sailing out of the relegation zone.
This was Mulenga’s 13th goal of the season and it moves him up to 7th on the top scorers chart. He is the club’s top scorer.
Liaoning Whowin striker James Chamanga is still out with injury.

U cant dout jacob with the curent players i think he is the best striker
Now this team must sign another Zambian player as a token of appreciation to what Jacob is doing for them .
Jelous down this jacob is on fire!
Yaaaa we need Jacob with Mbesuma upfront
Sudan would be in trouble
The Chinese league is mediocre. We need players in EPL, Bundesliga, La Liga etc not Botswana, Kenya & Mauritius leagues. None, NOT A SINGLE ONE OF OUR PLAYERS IN THE BEST LEAGUE – EPL. Sad indeed.
@ Mubanga…u have information on any players in Mauritius, Kenya, Mongolia or is it Botswana! What players r u refering to?!
