Nkwazi Football Club have confirmed that defender Pride Mwansa will miss the rest of the 2025/26 season after sustaining an injury in last week’s fixture against Nchanga Rangers in Chingola.
In a statement, the club said: “Nkwazi Football Club wishes to inform its supporters and the general public that our defender Pride Mwansa sustained an injury during our recent fixture against Nchanga Rangers in Chingola last week.”
Following medical assessment, Mwansa has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign. The club added: “It has been confirmed that Pride will miss the remainder of the 2025/26 season as he continues his recovery and rehabilitation process.”
Team physiotherapist Abby Phiri also confirmed the timeline, stating: “Pride will be out for the remaining three games.”
The club expressed its support for the player during his recovery, saying: “The club, players and technical bench stand firmly with Pride during this recovery period, and we wish him a speedy and successful recovery.”
