Fresh from being denied a place at the next year’s Africa’s biggest youth tournament, The U20 Africa Cup of Nations, Zambia will be hoping to restore pride by beating their Mozambican counter-parts in their last group stage match of the 2018 COSAFA Castle Cup tournament to be played this afternoon at Nkana stadium.
A win for the young Chipolopolo will ensure that the Charles Bwale led team maintain their 100 percent record at the on-going COSAFA tournament at the group stage level. Zambia has two wins from two games with 4 goals scored and none allowed.
However, Zambia U20 Coach Charles Bwale will have to sweat for late fitness test on instrumental Lameck Banda who limped off in the previous game against Congo DR. But Zambia’s top scorer Prince Mumba with 3 goals is fit again to bang in those goals.
On the other hand Mozambique coach Jose Victor Matine has charged that his side is ready and will cause an upset.
Mozambique has 4 points from two matches. A win or draw for Mozambique will see the young Maambas through to the last four while Zambia who has already qualified to the semi final will try by all means to avoid a defeat and ensure their 100 percent record is preserved.
The match will be played at 15:30hrs from Nkana Stadium and will be carried live on the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC).

The U20 of chambeshi was just great
This U20 its like watching the senior team misplaced passion
Chipantepante
The goal keeper just like his cousin mweene
To be honest this the nation the coach lipulanga I couldn’t see no coordination
No system
No tactical n technical abilities
Zoona elyo tupwile
Kamanga has really destroyed the game
This was a very poor performance
Yes we can blem the rain
But the Mozambiquecn lads had a system n could string passes
@Leo, we are all watching games on Kwese TV on YouTube.
You maybe right there is no way this Under20 can come close to Best on Chambeshi’s Mwepu, Patson, etc.
But Bradley Mweene is better than Mangani.
Poor game by these lads
Coach is useless
I have always pointed out the fact that Bwale is not the right person for the job. Am slowly being vindicated.
Zambian player keep the balance, too long to the advantage of the opponent. In most scenarios they either lose possession (even in the most dangerous positions) or put the ball out of touch. This disease has manifelted itself at all levels. Players like Lameck Bandai are losing value due to this trait. Is it not the same disease that is eating up fashion Sakala. There are quite a number of key player in Zambia who are victims to this. Coaches must be proactive and fight the cancerous style. Zambia needs players of the mould of Gift Kampala, the late Dennis Lota,Stone Nyirenda,Eston Yellow man Mulenga, Chris Katongo, Chris Mwakapuki, Timothy ‘The teacher’ Mweetwa, Malagasy Mutate, Derby Makinda, Albert Bwalya, Charlie Musonda, Kalusha Bwalya just to mention a few. We want to watch mwila as opposed chipantepane. One,twoso as opposed to “horse race” type,of style. I hope many will agree with me on this one. Coaches must take the blame. What we see is what they are producing.
