Zambia Under 20 national team coach Charles Bwale has come out strong stating he is not worried following his teams draw with the Junior Mambas of Mozambique.
Bwale spoke to the ZamFoot Crew after the draw against Mozambique which secured his team’s passage to the semi-finals.
He stated that though his defence has shown some weaknesses, they can do better with some correction given they have only conceded one goal in the games they have played since the tournament started.
The Junior Chipolopolo coach also touched on the performance and improvement of Andrew Phiri who won the man of the match award in the game.
“We dropped him at some point but we kept monitoring him at his club and then we gave him a second chance” Bwale went on to say.
Phiri who plays for Kafue Celtic put up a Stella performance scooping the highly contested man of the Match award.
Zambia play defending Champions Zimbabwe in the quarter final of the ongoing Mopani Cosafa cup 2018 edition.
Whoever appointed this Bwale character must be ashamed of himself and he’s as incompetent as the same Bwale he appointed. What a disgrace of a coach
Bwale must be worried of his skill and knowledge to understand the game. The junior mambas coach changed the game plan altogether which Bwale could not match up to. Bwale has a talented team but his understanding of the game will cost us yet again. He must his players well and never to stick to long balls alone, if it wells try something else.
