Zambia’s envoys in the CAF Champions League Zanaco have made a positive start to their international pre-season tour of Zimbabwe after they thrashed Mozambican side Ferroviaro da Beira 4 – 1.
The Zambian League Runners-up only led by a goal scored by new signing from Zambiabwe Tafadzwa Rusike at half time but they turned the tempo up after the restart to lead 4 – 0 before Ferroviaro scored a face saver five minutes from the end of the match.
Burkinafaso midfielder Romaric Pitroipa scored the second in the 51st minute before another new signing from Napsa Stars Chitiya Mususu made it 3 – 0 nine minutes later.
Substitute Boyd Musonda extended the lead in the 67th minute in a game Zanaco dominated.
The consolation goal for Ferroviaro who finished fourth in the Mozambic league was scored by Joao.
Zanaco arrived in Zimbabwe in the early hours of Saturday for the final phase of their pre-season and they are scheduled to playb Platinum and Chicken Inn before they conclude their preparations on February 2.
The Bankers play Armed Forces of Gambia on 9th February in the opening match of the CAF Champions League.

Indeed, where is Mukuka Mulenga. I thought even other failed stars like Mayuka could use this explosion in the league to rediscover their forms. Unlike others who may judge them harshly, we know their potential and I think they would be receiving more game time
