Zambia international striker Ronald ‘Sate Sate’ Kampamba has clinched a move to Belgian second division side Lierse SK Zambianfootball.co.zm can reveal.
A ZamFoot Crew source stated that Kampamba who is on the books of Egyptian side Wadi Degla has completed a one year loan move to the Lierse starting 1st December 2015 to December 2016.
When Kampamba moved to Egypt, the club promised that they would find the 21 year old striker a placement in Europe possibly at their sister club Lierse if he performed well and they have stuck to their word.
Lierse are currently 12th in the second division of the Belgian second tier league.
The U23 striker is expected to be key in Zambia’s quest for a place at the Rio Olympics when the national team plays in the CAF U23 Championship.

Well done Young man keep on working hard do not disappoint.
congrats
Good for Zambian football
Not bad. It starts from there. Hard work and consistency will reward him.
Why is the move? Is he under performing or he is the best striker the egyptian side has? Not every European move is good
Everything you are negative. When will you appreciate good things? Pessimists! You see negatives in everything.
@ Chufwa sc, you are a slow thinker hahahaha. Such a silly question…. read again…
“When Kampamba moved to Egypt, the club promised that they would find the 21 year old striker a placement in Europe possibly at their sister club Lierse if he performed well and they have stuck to their word.”
@ Chifwa. The club is simply honouring its promise. The promise was that if he performs well with them then they would find him a club in Europe.
This is something to celebrate not zambia beating mozambique
Its true chifwa not every european move is good hope its a right move for the lad.
Congratulations goes to mr sate sate. Keep on hard working
sate sate wll done kip it up,the bible says give credit where it z due.kip on workin harder u r our future goal pocher coz in the nxt 5 yrs these goal guns we ve now they ll b no more.congrats my God gives u strength.
goodluck sate sate
work hard young man europe is not easy.
he wont succeed mark my words. hes too small
Just like someone called john said Ayew Andre would flop just becoz Mayuka according to him was I’ll treated. Dear john has been made to swallow his own words and conveniently quiet about
He ii make it this boy is a nutural goal poucher, like kelvin mutale
Well done boy, show them what you’re capable of .
really good move.discipline and hardwork are the fundamental recipies for success.
There’s not a single team in Europe that has a striker the size of Sate Sate. He can’t succeed as a striker. He will be converted into an attacking midfielder in the mould of Santi Cazorla or David Silva or even Lionel Messi. Small players can only play number 10 in Europe. Even Mayuka was thought to be too short to play as a central striker and that is why he was taken to the wings at both Sochaux and Southampton. Let’s hope he adapts to whichever role he will be given Good luck young man.
What role does Ahmed Musa of Nigeria play in Russia is he tall?
Ahmed Musa is a winger and it is Doumbia the Ivorian who plays as the central striker for CSKA Moscow
@Anonymous, my brother Ahmed Musa is not a central striker. He is a winger for both CSKA Moscow and Nigeria. The central striker for CSKA Moscow is the Ivorian Doumbia.
i agree with john we cant celebrate after beating a team which has never beat us.
It’s sad you are of the opinion am a slow thinker, but I’ve seen a lot of our players play from the bench in Europe. I’d rather be at small club and play on the pitch than some fancy european team and be relegated to the bench, anyone of you guys know of any striker scoring while seated on the bench
Probably the most useless striker Nkana has ever produced. He has scored just 1 goal in 26 Egyptian league appearances!! He will flop in that 2nd tier Belgium league. He does’nt have what he takes!!
Yes Mozambique is a non entity in the Football World and beating em counts for nothing if you ask me its like me an adult passing grade 7 exams thats NO ACHIEVEMENT its the normal thing realy
It is good to see boys having a game time. it is also good for our country
Height or weight does not matter in football. Is former Real Madrid striker Raul and Ac Milan Fellipo Inzaghi short or tall? For them to make it in europe.wat matters is been intelligent on the ball
Philipo Inzaghi is 1.81m tall and that is almost 6ft tall. That is tall! Raul Gonzalez is also 1.80m tall. That is not short my brother.

Sate sate is intelligent and is a good poacher.Raul and Inzaghi were good strikers coz of bin lethal and intelligent in the box
Good Summary @Bingoras nimbus
Look at the hieght of brazilian romario dont show ignorance if you stated watching football yestade, its skill nd inteligency on the ball, look at how he position himself , also rewind yourslf nd check the kind of goals he scores that ii tell u he is a good poucher for goals
With all due respect, Sate Sate is not Romario nor could he ever hope to be Romario. In fact, Romario was not your typical centre forward. He played more like Rooney and loved to play deep because he was a creative player. The same may be said about Sergio Aguero who is also not the tallest but loves attacking from outside the box. Romario was not a box player and does not fit the bill of a centre forward. Ba Adebayor desist from displaying your arrogance by accusing others of being ignorant. Some of us have actually watched Romario in the flesh.
HE CAN DO IT COZ IT IS DIVISION 2. WISHNG HIM ALL DE BEST!
You can’t celebrate after beating a team that has never beaten you! What if the team beats you ….how will you react? Just asking. Anyway if it is about telling other bloggers about ourselves I wish to let bloggers know that I am celebrating the win against Mozambique because the beautiful record that Zambia against the Mambas has not be dented. This is worth celebrating.
The person who precisely described Sate was Renard who said he disappears from the game for long periods, b4 u know the game is over. Its like playing with 10 men. The fact is Egyptians r hoping that the European diet and training regime
will for a start build his stamina and to an acceptable weight. Secondly, his tactical contribution may improve with regular game time despite Lierse r Div 2. And he is expected at the conclusion of the loan period to b fit. Otherwise Sate will hv no future in Egypt. He is actually thin, small and lacks the ability to mix it with defenders. He is not comparable to Romario, Messi, Raul,Jonhnstone Bwalya, Kashimoto or Kaushi! These were short, thickset, stocky, much heavier players. Your Sate am afraid will hv to put his back into it!
sate is a good play although he is shot he scores like messi & mata
