Striker Ronald ‘Sate-Sate’ Kampamba has left North Western based MTN Super League side, Kansanshi Dynamos, the club has confirmed.
Kampamba leads a group of eight players who part ways with the Mabanga Boys.
The Nkana legend joined the Mabanga Boys in September 2022 after a successful stay at Nkana that saw him led the club to their 12th title and win two golden boots.
Former Lusaka Dynamos midfielder Marvin Jere has also left the Solwezi based outfit.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that Jere may be heading to Southern Province to join Green Eagles.
“Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club announces significant changes as the team continues to prepare for the second round of the 2023/24 season, having already played two games.
The Club bids farewell to midfielder Marvin Jere who has spent two seasons with Kansanshi and leaves following expiry of his contract.
Striker Ronald ‘Sate-Sate’ Kambamba, who joined us in September 2022 from Nkana FC has also left the club.
Additionally, defender Kingsley Hakwiya, recruited from Buildcon FC in July 2022, will no longer be part of the team.
Winger Daniel Chama, who returned at the beginning of the current season, has mutually parted ways with Kansanshi Dynamos FC.”
Other notable departures at the Solwezi Independence Stadium based side include goalkeeper Scotch Mwanza, midfielder Yanganile Tembo, who has embarked on a new chapter in Mozambique, as well as Djo Ntambwe and Mubanga Basunga.
The club has also confirmed the promotion of two youngsters from their feeder side Young Kansanshi Dynamos.
“On an exciting note, the club welcomes the promotion of two talented players from its developmental side, Young Kansanshi, as part of the ongoing preparations for the second round.
Midfielder Chali Mulaisho and goalkeeper Mapalo Chitundu showcased exceptional performances with the junior team, particularly in the first half of the season.”
Meanwhile the club’s captain and longest-serving defensive midfielder, Mutale Mutale, has retired from playing football and will now contribute to the development of the club by joining the Young Kansanshi Dynamos FC administration team.
