Nchanga Rangers executive committee has stated that there was no consensus from the club to put up a proposal to amend the FAZ constitution with regard to the election of the president.
A statement by club chairman Yoram Kapai states that the club acknowledges that vice chairman Blackwell Siwale floated the proposal but did this without consulting the executive committee.
However, the club has decided not to act on the proposal but to only take internal corrective measures.

CHINGOLA, 26th March, 2015.
Nchanga Rangers Football Club (NRFC) wishes to acknowledge the publication of a statement attributed to its vice chairman Mr Blackwell Siwale in the media recently as regards proposal to amend the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) constitution.
Notwithstanding that Mr Siwale issued the statement in question, the club would like to clarify that there was no consensus in coming up with such a decision – for NRFC to float the proposal for the amendments to the FAZ constitution.
The club held an emergency executive committee meeting chaired by the Chairman Yoram Kapai with Mr Siwale and Mr Emmanuel Simbeye, the Hon. Secretary, in attendance. Both officials have accepted that they erred to author and sign such a proposal without full approval of the executive committee.
However, for purposes of serenity within the football family, NRFC will leave the proposal to be decided by the FAZ AGM.
Meanwhile, internal corrective measures have been instituted to avoid a repeat of similar situations in future.

This is a classic example of not thinking a process through. The only thing that made them disown this was the reaction this bone headed proposal received. Think before you act!
The Chairman too is dull as the two erring ex coms should have been suspended and was not aware of the happenings ….Nchanga Rangers FC has jockers : Kapai clue less leader about football , Siwale self proclaimed President, Jimmy Chongo African Technologist, ……That’s why the attendance by Fans at Gabitas is so low..typical vote of no confidence…Also someone need to investigate the transfer Bornwell to Ama Zion..

At the time i said sack Bonetti and i stand by that because he was not going to take us far in the competition. So gvernment now pays off Bonetti and i think it is ok given the mess with Bonetti being chosen in the first place. Yes government can help FAZ in this matter, it was worth it for us to win Afcon. As to why FAZ has no funds of its own at this moment and none to pay Patrice Beaumelle, that is squarly on FAZ!
