Power Dynamos send Chipepo for CAF A coaching course in Tanzania

Kitwe giants Power Dynamos have decided to send head coach Mwenya Chipepo for a coaching course in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Chipepo will be in Dar es Salaam for ten days as he upgrades from CAF B to A.

He is the third Zambian who has travelled to the East African for licensing course.

Red Arrows’ Chisi Mbewe and Alex Namazaba of Green Eagles are also in Tanzania for the final module of the CAF A.

“Mwenya is just starting his CAF A, while the other two [Chisi and Namazaba] are in their final module,” a ZamFoot Crew source said.

“You know in the 80s and 90s, we used to send our coaches for school abroad. We want to invest in Mwenya.

“We want to invest and empower our coaches,” said Power Dynamos official.

In Chipepo’s absence, Linos Makwaza will act as head coach and will be assisted by Songwe Chalwe.

It is now a requirement by CAF for clubs involved in the Champions League and Confederations Cup to have a CAF A License.
