Brighton and Hove Albion head coach Graham Potter is full of praise for Zambian midfield ace Enock Mwepu and believes he is ready for the English Premier League.
Potter says the Zambian has made a real impression on everyone at the club since he arrived from Redbull Salzburg last month.
Potter is confident the 23-year-old will only get better the longer he stays at Brighton.
“Enock’s settled in well. It helps that he is the personality he is – likable, mature, humble,” he said.
“He’s made a real impression and on the pitch, I think he can add goals from midfield and will get better the longer he’s with us.”
“He’s scored already and can add goals from midfield. There’s no doubt he’s got the capability to play in the Premier League. There are things to improve of course, like everybody, but we’re happy with him and I think he’ll get better the longer he is with us. There’s no doubt he’s got the capability to play in the Premier League,” he added.
The Zambia international could make his debut this afternoon as Brighton opens their 2021/2022 English Premier League campaign away at Burnley.
