Lwandamina set to make four changes

Chipolopolo Boys coach George Lwandamina is set to hand Green Buffaloes duo Adrian Chama and Stephen Kabamba starting birth in tonight’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

The two defenders impressed Lwandamina at CHAN tournament earlier this year.

Congolese based full back Kabaso Chongo could also rival Davies Nkausu at right back after both players were recalled for this tie.

There could be also a return to the starting line up for Chris Katongo though Armenian based winger Lubambo Musonda could just sneak it.

Elsewhere the team is expected to be the remain the same with Winstone Kalengo and Collins Mbesuma leading the attack.

  1. Umwaiche chirwa wabwanga the boy is not national team material but he get the nod ahead of singuluma I can even play chansa not this boy or even sautu is better

  2. Ubwanga kale bwapwa naimwe..maybe he plays to instructions well…ama guys aba bwanga ba ku mighty…eh eh eh eh…abena milambo!

  3. I would start Cletus Chama ahead of Chris Katongo. He brings pace and he is the best threat from set pieces as of at now. He also delivers a wicked cross and he can dribble.

    • @Pungwa I think chris even in his old age is slightly faster than Cletus. Cletus is a very good play but in my opinion he lacks pace

  4. That’s a good team we expect a good result. As for Chirwa is good he supports the back line well with both aerial and ground balls. Lets observe him in today’s game. We don’t want to feature skillful players in the squad and at the end we loose the game.

  5. the problem with our very on coaches is that they like experimenting on very serious games,u want to put inexperience player in the back?i guess we are used to qualifying last minute.

lets kill this congo side and play for a point when we go their..@home we need to go for a kill, non of those boys impressed me during CHAN i guess we jst dont have players..

  6. So all of us are trained coaches on this site ne? do you see Lwandamina come to your office to give you pointers on how you do your job? you online coaches crack me up …pwahahahaha….Let George Work!…

  7. this game is a must win… which ever team the coach will select needs our support, although we need to change the system we use these days were we play long balls to our front men. all the best …………….go Zambia go…we are winning today….
