Patson Daka is attracting interest from Spanish clubs Sevilla FC and Valencia CF ahead of a possible departure from Leicester City F.C., according to reports in Spain.
Spanish outlet Fichajes claims Sevilla have already opened talks with the Zambia international’s representatives as the striker approaches the end of his stay at the Premier League club.
The 27-year-old is reportedly viewed as an attractive option by the Andalusian side because of his pace, European experience and potential availability on a free transfer this summer.
Sevilla are expected to strengthen their attacking options ahead of next season but remain mindful of financial constraints, making Daka a cost-effective target with proven pedigree at both club and international level.
Valencia are also monitoring the situation closely as they seek additional firepower in attack. The six-time Spanish champions are understood to value Daka’s experience, goal-scoring ability and affordability as they assess potential reinforcements for next season.
Daka joined Leicester from FC Red Bull Salzburg in 2021 for a reported €30 million fee — a record transfer involving a Zambian player at the time.
Since arriving in England, the Chipolopolo forward has scored 29 goals and registered 18 assists in 166 appearances across all competitions. He was also part of the Leicester squad that won the FA Community Shield and remains the club’s all-time leading scorer in European competitions.
Daka’s future is expected to become clearer in the coming weeks as interest in the forward continues to grow across Europe.
