Zambia look slow on recovering on that one. Lost the ball in the midfield and Senegal exploited the space left via a quick counter. Zambia needs to find a way to hold on to the ball in midfield. Giving the ball away too easily, meanwhile we are failing to win the ball back in the midfield. Senegal far superior on keeping the ball. And they are not winning the ball via tackles, it’s been wayward passing in most cases.

Zambia missing 6 Starters against a Star Studded Senegal team. E.Mwepu, P.Daka. R.Kabwe, F.Sakala, A.Mulenga and C.Chama all missing for various reason.

Senegal still the better side even if we had these 6 guys there but they would have made a huge difference. No excuses though.

Micho is good at fighting players. Sululani will be a victim. Locally based players they play chipantepante. They lack class. They have literally failed to rise to the occassion when it matters most. Shame on you micho

Any Coach with local Zambian players and this Senegal team with stars would find it tough.

The game came at a wrong time for Zambia missing all these plyers. If we get a cricket score then no one will be willing to play us.

Coach start with the basics with these boys. They need to learn how to keep the ball as a defensive strategy. Focus on that in training. Stylish football as we used to call it. Roan United and Kabwe Warriors was known for this type of game. We have in in Zambia and we can play that Barcelona type game. If your opponent can’t get the ball, they can’t score period! Accurate, quick and crisp passing. Avoid long balls. Triangle ball movement. Then work your way up the field and try to score. Players need to have specific instructions, No shooting the ball if you are not a striker. Emphasis on creating chances for strikers to score and minimize losing the ball due to wayward shots. Quick recovery and high pressure when you lose the ball. Pack the bus. If you have those basics you will build a winning team with talent you have. Defense First!

Zambia should just learn from zimbabwe they play professionals only. The are getting results

I have to give Micho credit for how well Zambia played in the 2d half. It was night and day. Also, number 6 for Zambia can’t remember the name, contained Mane really well in that half. Boy had a truly good game.

Good exposure for the inexperienced Zambian team. Agreed @Positive Thinking Zambia played well 2nd Half.

We don’t have depth when our key players are not available. With the Dakas, Mwepus, Sakala this would have been a different ball game. We still need to fix our defense.

To say the least we were very amateur ish. Two good contributors on the day, 1 goal keeper 2. Prosper Chiluya good passes from him low to suit Zambian height against Senegal. Chepeshi must keep his position. Those overlaps and not dropping back quickly caused weaknesses on right back, all three scores came from mistakes on the side.Mid field no play makers and all were timid. Àll players should have been instructed to play low ball in preference to high balls as Senegal had height advantage. That is being mild, could be more critical

Micho must go he is useless how can you exclude experienced players and get local player with nothing to do internationally look at Senegal all the stars were there it’s just like hunting a 🦁 with a dog 🐕
