The Rwanda U-17 women’s national team has fully arrived in Ndola ahead of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia.

The first batch of the delegation, comprising 12 players, the head coach, and members of the technical bench, touched down at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 11h50 hours aboard Ethiopian Airlines.

The final group arrived later in the day, with their flight landing at 18h20 hours, completing the team’s presence in the country.

In total, 33 members of the delegation are now in Zambia as Rwanda prepares for the decisive second-leg encounter.

The visitors face the Copper Princesses on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium, with kick-off set for 15h00.

Rwanda comes into the match trailing 2–0 following their defeat in Kigali, leaving them with a mountain to climb against a confident Zambian side on home soil.

The team was received  by FAZ Head of Competitions, Loreen Mulomba.

Meanwhile, tickets for the match are already on sale via the TechPay online platform. FAZ Head of Media and Communications, Nkweto Tembwe, has urged fans to embrace the digital platform and secure their tickets early.

“Football fans and everyone must take advantage of this platform as it makes buying of tickets and access to the stadium seamless. It is a safer way for both parties as the transaction is cashless,” Tembwe said.
