Chipolopolo Boys forward Eliya Mandanji is in Denmark looking to seal a possible move to four time Danish Superliga Champions, Football Club Midtjylland.
Mandanji left this weekend for Scandinavia and is expected to spend three weeks with FC Midtjylland.
The move is however only expected to materialize in the summer. And should he manage to impress he will join former Mphande Youth player Edward Chilufya who is on the books of the club.
Mandanji missed ZANACOās narrow 1-0 loss to Chirundu United in the 2026 ABSA Cup quarter finals and Numba was quick to wish the young forward well during his assessment in Europe.
āI think we didn’t miss him necessarily. I think we did very well in terms of creating chances. All we needed was to be clinical. I think for Elia (Mandanji), we cannot cry over him. He has gone to pursue other opportunities outside the country. All we need is just to pat him on the back and encourage him so that he goes there and works hard so that he signs the contract outside.ā
Mandanji has been in fine form this season in the MTN Super League for Zanaco FC, scoring 10 goals in 26 games.
