Chipolopolo midfielder Klings ‘Mature’ Kangwa is already back at work with his club, Red Star Belgrade ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
Kangwa helped the Copper Bullets secure their place at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations thanks to a 3-0 win over Ivory Coast, a match in which he scored the third goal.
The Red and White are currently in Russia for their pre-season training camp and have set up three friendly matches.
Belgrade will face Zenit St. Petersburg tomorrow then face Azerbaijan side Neftci Baku and conclude with a tussle against Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Coach Milojevic Milos has carried a squad of combined experience and youth for the Russian outing.
Belgrade won the Serbian Mozzart bet Superliga subsequently booking a place on the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
Kangwa was a major part of the success and has since attracted interest from Ligue 1 side Montpelier, Scottish Cinch Premiership side Celtic and English Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
