FAZ president Kalusha Bwalya who watched the match in Abu Dhabi –
Today were not tight enough. Normally we deal with the crosses which were delivered. In all the goals we conceded we had numbers at the back.
The truth is that in November we have to play two matches in a space of 10 days against Sudan. This match against a strong Egyptian team was good practice for us in preparation for Sudan.
Zambia yesterday were beaten 3 – 0 by Egypt in an international friendly match.

There was a time when Zambia was at par with the likes of Egypt, when we would beat any team in the world on a good day. Nowadays its going back to the drawing board all the time. To me we haven’t learnt anything from this outing because in the next competitive match a different team is going to play. So those players who will play in the next game what have they learnt from this game!
actually we last beat egypt 19 years ago
Dreaming as usual
Nothing good can come from any kalusha led organization. Low morale, poor preparation, wrong preparations, wrong training venues all because of kalusha’s relentless pursuit for money!! We are his victims!
But I don’t understand Kalusha. Why is does he seem to downplay this loss to Egypt? This is serious and it have effect on the ranking and may in turn have effect on seedings. In addition other big countries would not want to play Zambia. It is this lack of seriousness that really worries me about FAZ. Casual approach to serious issues in FAZ is killing our football.
Is that so this guy can say surely? I thought he was going to tell on how they are going to improve the tea, and especially the defence.
Team
Empty words from Kalysha there. By the way we need to be hearing what the coach had to say after the match not Faz president. Can the press show up please.
split the squads. u23 chan and senoir team
I am disappointed with kalus comments, surely after spending tax payers money is that all he can say?????????????????
useless president, what A team u talking about, u had everyone including sunzu and team
Hahahahahahaa. Somebody say this team is going to the world cup.Egypt is finding difficulty going to the world cup. If gold can rust, what would happen to iron.
Bad results we need serious people its these people dont know what is at stake.
These guys are really f00ls. You cannot experiment against such teams you need your best players. Mayuka, fwayo, kabaso Chongo, mbola, evans Kangwa, singuluma, katebe, roders kola etc these boys you need to call them all the time they form the spine of the national team and have experience. Kabaso did so well in a full back position against brazil so why play inexperienced small boys and lower your ranking. Kalu is messing up the football in zambia with his foolish coach lwandimina
Nothing to add….this is a painful loss; it appears that from 2012 we’re going backwards…Also Zamfoot… please remove these tired old images of Zesco, Ghana and U20….on your webpage.
Nalishibe ukwebati uku ukobakaya tapali ifyo bakaya citako,
We have the players but I dont know why these crap FAZ and their useless coach choose to select useless players. Bushe ifibantu ifi filatontonkanya sure?
Good practice with a useless coach who’s too dull to learn something this loss…
Mr kalu is idealess how can u say that egypt was serious look at the players they called, then yu ko a player ati chipeshi its time got serious with your work nowander mr kalu u sstay in southafrica
The greatest positive that has come out of Zambia is the improvement of the league, they are smooth on the ball not the old duck like warding as if its swimming. Kalebalika Kalu! A lot of us are dreamers indeed, but are you not going to improve the league even further when a lot of boys get international experience. One day a great Zambian side will chose itself. At the moment we need complicated dreamers to carry on.
Under kalu admin we won the afcon.was it kalus or renards formula that we used?every team we play against know we are champs so lets find time experiment in our bedbroom but not in public its a shame losing to egypt who have not been to afcon of recent.
We have good players but the problem is our coach we don’t have the coach. Kale is not a problem we don’t have money to pay the xpetriate coach.
Let’s face it a chicken can’t fly George is not capable
