Zambian glamour side Nkana have left for North Africa ahead of Tuesday’s first CAF Confederations Cup against CR Belouizdad.

Straight from beating Zanaco 2-1 at Nkoloma Stadium, the Kitwe side rushed to their hotel and refreshed before they headed to Kenneth Kaunda International Airport to catch their flight to Algeria.
They are expected to arrive on Friday.
The 12 time league champions returns to continental football after a four year absence.
The Beston Chambeshi coached side who last won the league title in 2013 are one of the title contenders this season alongside Zesco United, Zanaco, Lusaka Dynamos, Green Buffaloes and Buildcon.
They are also expected to have a good run in the CAF Confederations Cup and are favourites to reach the group stages ahead of the Algerian s.
Though both Zanaco and Nkana rested their stellar names at Nkoloma Stadium on Thursday, the later showed their mental strength and depth as they came from behind to win 2-1 thanks to goals from on loan duo Festus Mbewe and Idriss Mbombo.
On Tuesday night Chambeshi is set to name a full strength squad with Walter Bwalya and John Mwengani expected to return to the side after being rested.
Nkana did their pre-season in Zimbabwe and almost a week in Kenya.

Elsewhere in the CAF Champions League, Zanaco and Zesco United will be in action at home on Tuesday and Wednesday against Mbabane Swallows and Asec Abidjan respectively.
