It won’t be easy for the coach to pick his starting 11 against Botswana looking at the wide pool of players at his disposal, Micho has to make a crucial decision on whether to start his prized player Enock Mwepu who arrived 24 hours before the match or start him from the bench.
Or will Kelvin Kapumbu and Leonard Mulenga who have performed so well so far be paired in the defensive midfield role or will Micho start Enock Mwepu alongside Kelvin Kupumbu.
During his press conference yesterday at football house, coach Milutin Sredojevic emphasized on finding a right balance between attack and defense. Micho is well known for a 4-4-2 formation with two central midfielders, here is a predicted starting lineup;
GOALKEEPER
SEBASTIAN MWANGE: the new Maritzburg acquisition looks certain to keep his position in between the sticks. The former Green Eagle goalkeeper has played 3 games of the 5 friendly Zambia played.
Jackson Kakunta started one match against Ethiopia and Kabwe Warriors goalkeeper Lameck Siame started one game as well. Though Allan Chibwe can be considered for the starting spot.
DEFENDERS
TANDI MWAPE, LUKA BANDA, ZACHARIAH CHILONGOSHI and KONDWANI CHIBONI: After the departure of Kabaso Chongo from camp after the friendly match against Kenya, Luka Banda stepped up and proved his worth and it looks certain that he will start in central defense with Tandi Mwape.
Chilongoshi and Chiboni have been a revelation to this squad, the fullbacks have shown that they can add something even in the final third.
MIDFIELD
ENOCK MWEPU, KELVIN KUPUMBU, FASHION SAKALA and AUGUSTINE MULENGA: Questions been asking are whether Enock Mwepu who arrived late for the match will go straight into the starting lineup but it seems Micho will risk him for the sake of a win. Kelvin Kapumbu will be hold the midfield.
Fashion Sakala will start of the right wing then Augustine Mulenga on the right though Micho has a number of options on the bench.
STRIKERS
EMMANUEL CHABULA and COLLINS SIKOMBE: Emmanuel Chabula will be the man to lead the line, the Lusaka Dynamos striker has scored 5 goals for the national team this year and Sikombe will play behind Chabula. Sikombe has been in prolific form for the national team and that guarantees him a place in the squad.

This line up looks ok to produce positive results for Chipolopolo
