Grant names 25 Bullets for FIFA World Cup qualifiers

    • Not to throw stones but the boy is playing in the champions league and we opt for prayers aba ku Leopards, Aba Yellow, Kabwe Warriors…come on selectors…they have to explain why the boys in America and Swiss are not playing for us.

  1. Why does coach Grant leave out Kennedy Musonda, of Yanga, in Tanzania. To me he’s more stylish than Patson Daka , and he’s playing actively at his team Young Africans and he’s banging in goals like nobody’s business! He’s a point man. He’s also much better than Brian Mwila! Food for thought coach.

  2. Need to finally get that Mabika boy in the team. Especially with Frankie Musonda out.

Also agree that Chaiwa should be getting opportunity as well

  3. Good to see the Big Bulldozer – Brian Mwila fit and back in contention.

You never know…. this could be the selection… that finally cracks the puzzle.
    Go Grant!! Go Zed!!

  4. There are the Wales based players. Chanka Zimba and Taz Mayembe. What happened to them? Mayembe even played friendlies with Zambia in Senegal and Benin when they were prepping for World Cup.
And what of Mabika and Jadel Katongo etc
… this is why more friendly matches are needed. A proactive FAZ… actually keeping tabs on players and inviting them is the logical step. All other countries especially in West Africa are combing the European leagues.
We really need good players for World Cup
This is no joke …players who are smart and have ambition.

  5. Dear Sir/Madam,
It is necessary to put things straight on the ground, firm and square.
The constantly nagging issue pertaining to the use of foreign based (professional)soccer players by national soccer teams, must immediately, be fully tackled and must now include written documentation from applicable clubs to prove that a specific soccer player from a specific soccer club has been given a stated period of absence from work(leave), to play soccer for his or her national soccer team.
As such, all preparations for national soccer teams must include official talks and agreements between a country’s Football Association, for example, the Football Association of Zambia(Faz) and a spcific soccer club, for example, Manchester United, regarding the use of a club’s soccer players by a national soccer team.
This is necessary because each professional soccer player is a full time employee of a specfic soccer club.Proof of this is professioal soccer players are very well renumerated by their respective soccer clubs ie their employer.
Without these arrangements soccer players can be laid off or fired by their employers for over extending their services to interests not favourable to the profits of their employers.
This is quite serious, as is assumed that most soccer teams favour the idea of their players featuring for national teams when infact the truth of the matter in the exact opposite of the assumption.
A major consideration in this case is that of a soccer club having to play league matches without some of its players because the same soccer players are playing soccer for a national team.
Another major issue is financial.Just think of the medical bills involved in sports; to point out a serious budgetary consideration.
Thus it necessary to have firm agreements regarding the use of foreign based players in national soccer teams in every circumstance and in every regard.
