Sensational Zanaco will this Saturday come face to face with Forest Rangers in a week 6 fixture scheduled for Sunset Stadium at 15:00hrs.
Namibian defender Tiberius Lombard is expecting a tough match when the two sides meet this Sunday. In an interview with the Club’s official website (Zanacofc.co.zm), Lombard said the Bankers need to work hard as Fole Malembe are a very good side.
“It will not be an easy game against them. They’re quite a good team and for us to beat them we need to work extra harder,” He said.
“We need to collect maximum points this Sunday, we can’t afford losing points.”
Zanaco sits on 9th position with 7 points after 5 games while Forest Rangers are on 3rd position and are currently on a three-match winning streak.
The Bankers have a CAF assignment on the 27th of October as they take on Cano Sports Academy of Equatorial Guinea in the CAF Confederation Cup pre-group stage the first leg in Equatorial Guinea but Lombard believes their main target is facing Forest and then focusing on Canon Sport.
“We are not under pressure, our main focus now is the Forest game, we need to get the work done and make sure we do a good job then after that we can concentrate on the CAF game.”
Zanaco has recorded mixed results in their last 3 games registering a win, a loss, and a draw.
The week 6 fixture MTN/FAZ Super League tie is slated for Sunset Stadium this Sunday 20th October at 15:00 hours.
