The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has appointed Adrian Kashala as new General Secretary to take over from Ponga Liwewe.
Kashala served as deputy Secretary General at FAZ before his appointment. He previously served as Zambia Police director of Sports until he was seconded to FAZ by the police command to deputise Liwewe.
Liwewe announced that he would be leaving FAZ in March citing a toxic environment in Zambian Football as reason for his departure.
Kashala’s appointment is with effect from 1st July.
