The Football Association of Zambia, FAZ President Andrew Kamanga has met and discussed refereeing issues include VAR with the best all time referee in the world, Pierluigi Colina.
Kamanga met the Italian on the sidelines of on- going CAF Extraordinary General Assembly in Cairo, Egypt 24th to 27th November 2021.
Italian Colina was named FIFA Best Referee of the Year six consecutive times and is widely regarded as the best referee of all time.
Kamanga recently announced that FAZ intends to introduce VAR in the MTN Super League next season.
The Zambian game has seen several contentious refereeing calls lately and FAZ hopes the introduction of VAR could help in that regard.
Kamanga with his General Secretary Adrian Kashala are in Cairo for a CAF General Assembly.
