Zambian midfielder Clatous Chota Chama has been crowned as the 2019/2020 Tanzanian mainland Sportspesa player of the season for his club Simba.
The former Zesco United midfielder was voted by the fans as the clubs best player in the just ended Tanzanian Ligi Kuu. The award was voted by the fans and Chama was the clear favourite.

Chama has been very impressive for Wekundu wa Msimbazi on their route to their 21st Tanzanian League.
Chama is also expected to lead Simba SC in the final of the Azam Sports Federation Cup against Namungo FC which will be played on August 2.
The Sven Vandenbroeck coached outfit is chasing a double after concluding their 2019/2020 league season with a 2-1 win over Polisi Tanzania at the Ushirika Stadium in Moshi on Sunday.
