Chipolopolo clash with Sudan moved to Sunday

Chipolopolo Boys’ FIFA approved friendly against the Falcons of Jediane, Sudan has been moved to Sunday, June 13th, the ZamFoot Crew can confirm.

The venue of the match remains Al-Hilal Stadium at 19:00 hours CAT but an unofficial match will also take place tomorrow June 11 at the same venue and time against Sudan.

The Sunday game is the one that falls within the requirements of FIFA and the result will count towards the rankings.

Micho’s men are coming off two undesirable results, a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Senegal last weekend, and a 2-2 draw against the Squirrels of Benin on Tuesday.

The Serbian ‘Wolf’ is carrying a team that is thin and stretched to the barest minimum with up to 17 possible inclusions to the squad not available for selection due to various reasons but its a chance for the available players to prove a point and fight for a place in the World Cup qualifiers squad.

Micho is using the matches to prepare for September’s Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where Zambia will be away to Mauritania before hosting Tunisia in Group B.

  3. We have more and enough Best players around but this type of grouping of uncaped players who were supposed to be assessed locally using A team and B team then peak the lubric players before flying out. This current formula of selection is Matubi.
