Zambian legend Isaac Chansa has penned a 2 year deal at Iraq top side Zakho Sports Club.
The veteran midfielder is believed to be earning around $25,000 before bonuses.
Chansa was on the books of Zanaco and was the best scoring midfielder last season after he scored 10 league goals.
The former Power Dynamos midfielder has left the bankers as free agent.
Chansa played for Orlando Pirates in South Africa also had a spell in China and also Sweden with Helsingborg.

I do not know how far this Isaac Chansa went with his studies.He seems to be making the wrong moves all the time and he moved to India at one time and now war torn Iraq when he had a chance to stay in South Africa I mean his move to India.He is still a good player but I do not know why he is very retrogressive
Just to correct you on something. Chansa over the last decade has been by far the most financially astute player of the Zambian players were he has consistently made moves purely based on the financial gain of the move. An example of which is how he only moves as a free agent to simply cut out the middle man on the signing on fee. Very few players would draw a salary of over $10,000 at his age direct from Africa. At $25,000 he is earning more than most players in the PSL so financially it is a far better move for him at his age. There is completely nothing retrogressive about this move and in actual fact most of the moves he has made including India have been extremely financially progressive.
