Green Buffaloes is aiming to start the campaign with a victory over Zesco United, the two team will crash in the first match of the 2019 FAZ/MTN Super League which will be played this afternoon at Edwin Imboela stadium.
Zesco United will go into this match bearing in mind of the crucial CAF Confederation cup group stage match against Nkana. Zega Mambo who suffered a defeat in the hands of Nkana in the curtain raiser will be looking forward to bounce back.
While Buffaloes who recorded a 2-nil win against Zesco at home last season, have made changes to their technical bench after parting way with Bilton Musonda who was replaced with Charles Bwale.
A victory will be a good result for the new coach and it will be a morale booster for the players. We might see Michael Musonda, Abeauty Simazuwo and Steward Chikandiwa making their league debut for Buffaloes.
Coach Lwandamina will play his cards with extra care, so we might see a slightly different starting Xl as precautions against risks of injuries to his star players.
Elsewhere, The old timers FC Kalampa is in Lumwana to fulfill their their fixture against Lumwana Radiants. The two fixtures were postponed due to the fact that Nkana and Zesco were in involved in the Samuel Zoom Ndhlovu charity shield.

This looks to be in Buffaloes favour. The best Zesco Utd FC can do is a draw.
