Football Association of zambia (FAZ) held a press briefing yesterday concerning the latest developments in the Zambian football fraternity.
Speaking on behalf of the Association Mr Adrian Kashala strongly condemned the misconduct behavior by the fans in reference to the charity shield final between Zesco united and Nkana FC.
“As an Association we are aware of the CAF engagement involving two big teams Zesco united and Nkana, we need to protect the name of the game and are calling upon the two teams to ensure that their supporters are well behaved. ”
The Association we will not take kindly any misconduct behavior that will be recorded from Sunday’s game in which the two copperbelt clubs will be involved in.
Football Association of zambia (FAZ) secretary General Mr Adrian Kashala addimited that the “Association has received reports in the just ended charity shield that fans from the two clubs were throwing objects on the pitch and has warned that should that repeat itself it is within their powers as an Association to sanction such clubs.
“It will not be in our interest to begin to sanction them but in an Event they misconduct themselves or their fans do so we shall not hesitate to apply the necessary sanctions.
